How much driving time is it? Has anyone been to the Cork Folk Festival? Would it be something I would like experience? I’ll be staying in Dublin with only 10 day (8 actual visiting days) and desire to experience as much of Irleand as I can squeeze into that little bit of time.
my family is staying in wicklow for christmas, but i’d like to visit some friends in dublin on my own. i was wondering if anyone could explain to me about the public transportation from wicklow to dublin? i live in a small town, so i don’t know anything about buses and trains and whatnot. what would be my best option? where are the nearest stations? what time do they run? because i’ll most likely be leaving in the late evenings. and what about prices? any help with these questions, and some links too, would be greatly appreciated. thanks much.

I plan of moving from Australia to Ireland for a period. I’d like to start in London and visit friends end then go to Dublin. How many euros do you reckon I’ll need to settle in, eg find some accomodation and get work. I’m not sure what the rental prices are like but I would to be in an area probably in the inner-city, hopefully in to some share accomodation.
