Whats the *** scene like in dublin? I’ll be in Dublin for two weeks in feb and wondering what the best gay/gay friendly pubs/clubs in dublin are? Also in general how are *** people treated in Ireland? forgive my ignorance but I really don’t know anything about the *** scene in Dublin or in Ireland in general. There is a vibrant *** scene in Dublin, though it’s not in your face and is quite discreet.

I’m not too familiar with the *** scene in Dublin but then again, the *** society in Dublin and/or Ireland is usually quite discreet so perhaps it’s not that much of a surprise that not many people know much about it in general. I have a couple of *** friends/colleagues but we never really talk about it come to think of it.
However, based on events that have taken place in the city in the past, such as *** Pride Parade, International *** and ******* Film Festival, and *** Theatre Festival, they seem well received and I didn’t hear of disparaging remarks of any sort towards them.
I am aware that there are a couple of *** clubs on George’s St – The George and The Dragon, and they’re just a couple of minutes stroll apart, on the same side of the road. There’s also GUBU on Capel St.

i would say its the same as everywhere the george is the best pub to go to its in georges street

Straight myself, but friends had generally good things to say about the Dublin scene. Although they felt a little out of place in more rural areas of ireland as an openly *** couple, they really loved Dublin and were treated well.
