Anywhere in Ireland. I was told the bar staff all had 5 years training. Ask for a shamrock on the top.

if your lookin for somethin not too modern try Davy Byrnes in Duke St.,
Kehoe’s in South Anne St is nice
The Brazen Head is the oldest pub in Dublin
I dont drink Guinness but they are all good pubs and ive been told they do a good pint

try the Celt bar for real tradition, but the Arlington is lively as well, any where on temple bar is good, st john gogarities is another favourite, bet you go back for more, we go every last weekend in January and i can`t wait, don’t drink it all,save some for me but hey, fill your boots. shame about the Guinness factory because the pint you get at the end is definitely the best , next time maybe? hey tell you what see you in January!

yeah, the Celt is a good one. don’t go into Eamonn Dorans in temple bar. heard they are dreadful. find a traditional pub. It’s really more the luck of the pot I think. try go into a traditional pub, don’t mean to stereotype, but they would be more experienced serving the pints properly for the old punters as a pose to the younger places where they are always under pressure and don’t bother making the perfect pint

Try the Arlington Hotel, they have Guinness Irish music Irish dancing and its good old craic. Its located on the Dublin Quay,s

There are some very good Pubs in Dublin, The long Hall in South Great Georges Street, Mulligans in Poolbeg Street off Tara Street its a real Favourite, The Palace Bar in Fleet Street Temple bar. The International Bar in Wicklow Street.The Earl Grattan in Baggot Street. Doheny and Nesbitts in Baggot Street. The Pubs in the Swankier Streets mainly around Grafton Street tend be be Dearer for their Drink so shop around for best Price. Those with Mad Music Blaring out at you and Modern Facades tend to be Dearer stick to Traditional Pubs these will have Best Pint of Guinness.

if you want to stay central then go to O’Neills – its just off Dame Street. if you want to go further afield some real old men bars are Ryans in Parkgate Street ‘The Bridge Inn’ in Chapelizod, or staying in Chapelizod go to The Mullingar House (as mentioned in Finnegan’s wake). These will be full of locals, but at least its the real Dublin. My own local is a bit outside of the city, so I won’t mention it here.
If you want to try some local brews go to The Portor House, there are two, one in Nassau St (near Trinity College) and there is another one in Temple Bar (Parliament St end)

Well, I suppose if you must drink that rotgut crap, then you may as well drink it at the brewery.
