This is my part of the city, so follow me…
Come out of the docks past the harbour police hut and take a right turn. Avoid the entrance to the port tunnel. Straight along East Wall road for 2 minutes and turn right at Alfie Byrne road. Turn right again onto Clontarf Road and drive for about 5 miles heading for Howth. Before Sutton Cross turn left onto Baldoyle road and head for Portmarnock. Right at roundabout , through Portmarnock village, along coast road to Malahide, through Malahide and turn right at Mc Allisters garage. Straight ahead on Swords Road for 2 miles to the big Swords roundabout. Straight ahead to the Swords Shopping Pavillion. Take right turn at shopping roundabout and you are now at Main Street Swords.
Through the tunnel is more direct, but the coast road is a nicer route.

Well if you’re still stuck 19 hours later you must be in some serious schtick. Pull in a have a sleep for a while. After that, freshen yourself up a bit, have a cup of strong coffee and then follow agooddub’s advice.
