Its my friends birthday soon and were going to the zoo in dublin for her birthday (childish, i know, especially seen as we are 16 bu you can never grow old of the zoo!!) but im looking for something else that we can do, or somewhere we can go,, somewhere really fun, but no too expensive…. Also maybe somewhere we could have a small party, well, like a cake and such yano??…

We are a couple in our mid-20s and would like to feel the full vibe of Dublin from the nightlife to the sightseeing. And would preferably do that in walking distance (or easy access by public transport).

Streets that we should visit and good 3-4* hotels that are not a way off 100 pounds per room per night will be much appreciated.

I want to spend a week in Dublin, next week. I need a cheap hotel, circa 50 euro a night, and that will let me pay in cash and at short notice (i.e. I dont have to book in advance). I prefer a central location, or south city location.
