The two main shopping streets are Grafton St and Henry St. Henry St. is less expensive than Grafton St. but Grafton St is nicer.
You can drink from the age of 18 but you will need ID (passport or driving licence). The main party area is around Temple Bar but it is wild at weekends–bring vomit-proof shoes
Check out the Science Gallery in Trinity College–it has amazing exhibits.
Also the art galleries are mostly free if you are into art. The National Gallery is the main one.
