Karen S asked:
How do people in Dublin or the countryside celebrate Christmas in terms of foods? What do they eat and or drink? In America, we have turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pies and drink egg nogs.

Err are you for real? They eat roast, the same as you! There is no way they would eat leprachaun, they aren’t retarded!

How unusual to find an American taking an interest in the world outside the Great US! There are many differences between the US and the rest of the world: we eat smaller portions, and more of our food is prepared at home from scratch. But in Europe (Dublin is in Eire, which is in Europe) we eat a roast dinner, often turkey, with a stuffing, roast vegetables, Christmas pudding and beer or wine. In Dublin many would probably drink Guinness, too.
