Dublin Central
Could this be the partying capital of the world ?
Lady Macboob asked:

what kind of noise? Are there people yelling in the street? A lot of traffic? Car horns? Can I just wear ear plugs?
Rodge- Yes, those two seem like they can talk your ear off.

Yes it can be a little noisy at night but it’s outside in the streets. It’s the same as any city with lots of people and traffic. When you are inside your room in the hotel or BB or whatever, it is quiet and the only noise you will hear is your TV or radio.

I’ve heard that all the weird noises were coming from your room. What the heck are you doing over there?

  • Podge and Rodge Tribute Band Says:

The reviewers were actually staying in the room next to ours that night.
Rodge and myself were ‘entertaining’ Grainne and Síle Seoige. They’re noisy little things when they get going.

Not sure where you were looking at staying. I work for Marriott and this is one of our properties there. One I’d love to go to!
And I don’t think you’d have to worry about noise at this one.

Request a quiet room on a high floor away from the lift and you’ll be grand. Temple Bar area hotels are noisier than most, but a set of ear plugs should see you right.

If it is near an area with a lot of clubs/pubs – yes, it will be noisy. Yelling, fights – basic drunk goings on when everything closes for the night. But cities are noisy – just stay away from temple bar and you should be fine. Or stay out all night yourself :)
