The biggest ‘non national’ community in Ireland is the British, so you won’t be out of place for a second
finding work should be easy, depending on your qualifications.

It should be pretty easy, there are a lot of British in Ireland and they’re certainly more welcome than other foreigners, especially when it comes to hire them, for the obvious language advantage.
Dublin is definitely the best place to go for job opportunities. Look for jobs on,,, or on the newspapers when you get to Dublin.
But keep in mind it’s very expensive so you would be looking to make at least 25-30k per annum each to live decently.
It’s not easy to find good accommodation in Dublin if you’re not willing to spend too much. Look on or. You can also find shared accommodation on Daft.

We take on anyone, so you wouldn’t have any problem with that. There are lots of Eastern Europeans living and working in Ireland now, but you would have the language advantage.
Property prices are ridiculously high, particularly in the Dublin region. If you’re prepared to pay extortionate rent to live close to the city centre, it’s not a problem.
As for finding a job, use google to find ‘employment agencies+Ireland’. It really helps if you have particular skills.

is a good website or try some of the recruitment agencies over there. You should be prepared to pay a lot of money for accomodation though, as prices in Dublin for renting are crazy.
Belfast is another option, where the accomodation is still relatively cheap. . Either way you shouldn’t have a problem. We relocated back to N Ireland from England and my english boyfriend got a permanent job within a few weeks and was able to do temporary work from day one.

it would be easy for ye to find jobs cos ye already speak the language, a place to live would be found easily enough but if your gonna live in Dublin it’ll set u back a bit, most Dubliners and the Irish in General have no problems with english/british people and as for websites… the following few should help

Loads of English people are working here now so ye wont feel alone.It’s great!!!Yer a mad laugh!!!I’m still in school and loads of my friends are English. Believe me when I say we’ve gotten over 1916.
