  Start by calling your city for a list of recreation halls for rent.

  Then, call your local churches. They rent halls, too.

  Also, look into civic organizations. The Moose and Elk each have lodges (with full bars) you can rent. Veterans groups have meeting halls, too!

  Now, the problem you’ll find is many of these places have been booked for a year or so. Maybe you can rent a large tent from a party rental comany, and put that up in your back yard. Rent a dance floor, too. Do you have a DJ or a band? Bands are cool, but they take up a lot of room.
