My daughter will be studying aboard next semester in Dublin. Unsure of what she will need (universal adapters, clothing, etc) Any help would be appreciated.

light clothing but a few good jumpers and jackets to wear over as it can get quite cold. an umbrella i guess. she’d need whatever you would need in any country to be honest. hairdryer, good shoes (so the rain doesnt seep through the material as easily, it isn’t nice walking around in drenched shoes). the adapter you will need will be like this

Congratulations to you and your daughter. I suggest you contact the International Office of the University in Dublin. They usually have useful information and if they know when to expect your daughter, they can arrange to pick her up and arrange residence in advance.
The admission package should have most of this kind of info. You may need to look through the package if it’s arrived. Otherwise, call any number you find on the admission letter and take it from there.
    They should know best.

Don’t sweat it – just make sure she has money to buy anything you didn’t think of.

The most important thing will be appropriate clothing and a phone card or cell phone to call home.

Here’s a great page that lists everything she will need when she travels to Dublin:

And this is a page dedicated to studying abroad in Ireland:

    Good luck!
